Category A substances can cause life-threatening disease in healthy humans or animals, so every element of the shipment is regulated. We plan Category A moves one at a time: classification check, packaging specification, carrier acceptance, and import conditions are confirmed before anything is booked.
What a Category A move includes
- UN 2814 (human) / UN 2900 (animal) classification review against IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
- Packing Instruction 620: certified 6.2 shippers, inner packaging, absorbent material, and itemized list of contents
- Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods prepared and signed by trained staff
- Carrier pre-acceptance checks and route approval for infectious-substance cargo
- Import permits and consignee notification for the destination laboratory
- Temperature hold (2–8 °C or frozen) maintained inside the certified packaging where required
