The basics of working with us: what a quote binds, who is responsible for what, and how samples and disputes are handled.
These terms govern the sample logistics services of Bio Sample Logistics. Shipment-specific terms are agreed in the written quote; where a quote and these terms conflict, the quote prevails for that shipment.
Core terms
- Quotes — written, valid for the period stated on them, and binding on scope and price once accepted
- Customer duties — accurate declaration of material, classification input (safety data sheets when asked), and required consents for the samples tendered
- Our duties — compliant packaging, documentation, transport arrangements, and status communication as described in the accepted quote
- Liability — our liability is limited to the terms of the underlying carriage contracts unless gross negligence is proven; declared-value coverage can be arranged for high-value material
- Prohibited material — we decline shipments of material we cannot lawfully and safely carry; our refusal is final
- Governing law — Turkish law; disputes to the competent courts of İstanbul unless otherwise agreed in writing
